I saw myself looking through new perspectives which were more diverse, heartbreaking, and clarifying. As an international fan, I've been a fan of DBSK for about 7 years. Like Precious has written about, much of the information I've gathered from articles have been from JYJ based fansites which has definitely given me a strong bias going into these articles, translations, and arguments which Precious is making.

First, I would like to sincerely thank Precious for all the work that has been done to share this information with fans, even if it is difficult for me to fully accept or believe, I understand the validity of what has been written and said as backed up by solid reasoning and for the most part a neutral standpoint in the articles regarding the situation (from my view).

Second, I hope to convey my thanks to fans who have commented with such honesty, vivid description, and willingness to express their own opinions. While I can't say I agree with everyone, I appreciate how I am being forced to look at the situation differently. The different reactions have given me places to bounce my ideas and conclusions off of, which in turn has helped me process everything more smoothly. While my history with DBSK has left me with a certain impression of DBSK, the accounts of others have helped to make the digestion of such stark information easier to accept. Especially @SarahM I am thankful for the accounts you have provided of Korean fans as another look into the situation from your friends. As I'm feeling quite lost, I'm thankful for the accounts of your friends to ground me and for some reason put the situation in more perspective for me.

I have more to read up on, but I'm thankful, heartbroken, and sorrowful about what I have learned tonight.

As a side note, I would be interested to hear the thoughts of how Jaejoong's tattoos (AKTF, TVfXQ, etc.) can be connected the conversation. As a supporter of all five, I do have a particular soft spot for Jaejoong. Must we see the tattoos as a form of manipulation? Or is it also plausible to understand his ink as a memory of DBSK (as many of his tattoos were done before the separation), and looking forward a sign of support for all five?

Thank you.chataehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17194125617147389645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-87772117248128529892015-12-12T09:16:38.798-08:002015-12-12T09:16:38.798-08:00cont...

Back in time, when I first read ur blog, it was like a big rock smacked on my head. When I go through ur blog, it's right that new fan/ clueless mind emotionally digest what was happened. Excellent music/ member/ teamwork/ hard-long journey which potrey a warm brotherhood relationship. Because of this (I'm sure) it's really hard to believe/admit this kind of ending. Now I know the meaning of 'manipulating by emotion' and ones logical take part of this. I stand here because all my wondering/ puzzle were put into words here. I would like to than...Hello Precious and everyone!

I would like to thank you, Precious, for creating this blog. I've spent the last several days reading everything I could and going through most of the comments. I'll keep this brief as I'm not very eloquent, and don't know if anyone is still reading these. lol

I am a very new TVXQ fan. I first saw their KYHD video on Youtube and was immediately addicted. I searched and looked at other videos and read comments and came to know about their past history as five. Of course, a lot of the comments I read seemed to talk about the evil company that broke them up, and how they were keeping the faith that they would reunite blah blah blah. Well, as I came to enjoy their music more and more, I did more searching online and read a lot of disturbing things. Unfortunately, I can't read Korean (I have just started self-studying it) so my sources for information are very limited. I'm not sure where I found the link to this sight; I really don't remember, but once I found it, it seemed like I couldn't stop reading. lol I'm very appreciative of all the hard work that has gone into this site. Thank you so much for a place where English speaking fans can learn about the truth through translations and intelligent discussion.

I realize that you have a life outside of this blog, but I'm really hoping that you or someone else with access to the information will at least give updates if there is any new news on the lawsuit. I haven't seen any info on it anywhere and was wondering what is going on with it. I don't really trust any other site to give unbiased info on what happens.okaasanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01884222009584392071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-14713792607161517492012-04-17T14:34:17.955-07:002012-04-17T14:34:17.955-07:00sorry i should write x 3M ^o^sorry i should write x 3M ^o^Ranonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02466057854041465636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-43160444325594203382012-04-17T14:31:16.722-07:002012-04-17T14:31:16.722-07:00wahh so much to catch up with :/ ,, its readiong t...wahh so much to catch up with :/ ,, its readiong time for me XDD
but before i do i just read that jeajong followed heechul on twitter O_0 since when those two guys r friends? wasnt heechul a close friend with yunho ? wasnt he the one who attacked the 3M after their silly talk of the slave contract ?
how come heechul out of sudden follow jj ?!! the suju boys giving me a headache these days with their weird actions & comment still havent get over shindong comment on tvxq :/ i just pray that nothing harm will get the boys no more drama from the 3M plz ..Ranonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02466057854041465636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-59985447398920014042012-04-11T08:41:42.460-07:002012-04-11T08:41:42.460-07:00@Precious
Will you update new facts?
Okay, I'...@Precious
Will you update new facts?

Okay, I'm on Homin side. And now I'm majoring culture where I got Reading Expression lesson.
I have almost all video about TVXQ since their debut until the now. This is my expression observation
During 2004-2008 was TVXQ happiest time. You can see from their face, although there were some tiredness
But in the middle 2009, I can see the tiredness was reached to the top. Not only JYJ, but all members felt the same way.
In their last performance (NHK 09), all members were worried that it'd be the last. The actor Yoochun perfectly covered up his worry. But from what I see, Changmin had more than just worry.

Well in the recent TVXQ interviews, in Mureup Pak or Taxi show, etc, when they talked about JYJ and their activities in hiatus days. And this is what I got:
Yunho's expression, when they talked about the hiatus days Yunho actually could speak well since he is a leader, but his face told anger, disgust, and disappointment at the same time, it shows that Yunho suffered a lot during that time, he definitely won't back to that time. When he talked about JYJ, I can feel that Yunho still thinks that JYJ are his friends, nothing changed, but he had feeling of pride that he wanted to show to JYJ that he could make it without them.
While Changmin couldn't talk as well as his hyung. When he talked about hiatus days, he lied, not totally lied, he controlled all his words. He lied when he said that they try to keep doing well and keep working hard in the hiatus days. He has a lot of things to say, but he controlled it.
The same when he talked about the hardest thing after separation. He didn't lie about his family's suffer, he showed deep sad on it, but once again Changmin controlled all his words. Do not need to major culture to know it, because a lot of announcers, radio DJ, and presenters even asked him 'Changmin-ah, you have a lot of things to say, right?'
Both Changmin and Yunho show sincerity when they say they want to protect TVXQ especially Yunho
Some JYJ fans say that Homin are happy right now, they force their smile.
I totally disagree, they are happy but yes their happiness is different from the past.

You might think I'm crazy fan who observe TVXQ expression. But reading your blog give me more proof that actually Homin had suffered a lot too (JYJ fans only think that JYJ are the victim. Well I might be wrong, bcos I'm not an expert yet, but at least that's what got from my study. :)

In the future, I hope Changmin will talk all of things he wants to say and precious please continue to find the truth.Layzioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18414783482583013560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-72083517872168229722012-03-11T06:42:24.104-07:002012-03-11T06:42:24.104-07:00@pinkdreamer88
This whole incident is disturbing....@pinkdreamer88

This whole incident is disturbing... For me personally, I never say that JYJ never had any reason to do what they did, but no reason in the world makes it okay for an adult man to hit an unarmed woman repeatedly while calling her degrading names and using her as a punching bag for all his frustration just because she happened to be stalking him that night.

He was hitting her while spouting all these things that sounds like justification why she deserves to be hit. Worse than that, his fans jumps to his defense and enforces that point by listing all the 'crime' that some extreme sasaengs committed when we got nothing to prove that she is guilty of any of it.

They don't have an easy life as a celebrity, I got that. They are human and make mistakes, I got that too... But even after their statement to 'apologize' about their past behavior, I don't feel sincerity or regret. All I hear is 'poor me... by the way, sorry'. People might hate me but seriously, I am so very disappointed...

I hope this doesn't repeat itself, and no other idol do something like this. Other than that, I can only cringe as all these biased fans criminalize the victim by listing all the excuses why she deserves to be hit on behalf of what extreme few in the sasaeng community has done... What a screwed up biased world they live in.Hyeonmuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12105111855569051641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-73736751094131365352012-03-11T06:13:42.064-07:002012-03-11T06:13:42.064-07:00I had the urge to post this because most what is b...I had the urge to post this because most what is being circulated among the international fans come from JYJ fans. Anyways, I have few interesting things which are worth knowing. Here are few tweets about the JYJ issue:

(these are from Dispatch Desk)

http(:)//i41(.)tinypic(.)com/23h39ua(.)jpg

Do Sasaeng fans deserve to be beaten because they are stalkers? What a sinful logic. Jaejung did not hit , but who followed him. If a fangirl follows oppa, unlucky, she would be beaten.

http(:)//i40(.)tinypic(.)com/11m9wuf(.)jpg

It’s obvious that JYJ has been harassed by sasaengs. We know how difficult it is. However, to cover JYJ’s violence, they make all sasaengs to be stalkers. At that time, was Jaejung’s violence the punishment for the period blood sasaeng which was sent in the past? (as JYJ fans claimed) We will figure out the double judgement about sasaeng.

(He means that the girl who is beaten by JJ is not the one who sent period blood.)

http(:)//i43(.)tinypic(.)com/27wwsg2(.)jpg

At last, since when K-entertainment media become too generous of stars’ violence. It’s out of sense that they cover this issue by rewards which is free tours. Violence and swearing could not be forgiven because of Sasaengs’ mistakes. Why did only JYJ hit fans among lots of idols?

(He is referring her to Cjes. Cjes invited 40 media reporters to Chile (paying for everything; from hotels to plane tickets)

This is a screencap from a JYJ fansite which proves this claim:

http(:)//i41(.)tinypic(.)com/169qlo7(.)jpg

It is funny to see people going on and on about SM controlling or bribing the K-media! Look it is Cjes who is trying its best to do so.
On the other note, these are tweets from a Yoochun sasaeng who apparently got mad when after JYJ’s statements.

http(:)//i41.tinypic(.)com/m8lp2a(.)jpg

Think in common sense, such fucking bitches. Don’t bite like dogs without brains. How come people set CCTV in other people’s parking areas because security guards keep 24 hours there. The pictures you posted were taken through the outside window of parking area of Park Yuchun’s house. What a CCTV. Are you all sick?

http(:)//i43.tinypic(.)com/24wu5nd(.)jpg

Although I have liked them for 9 years, their hypocrisy is too scary. Disgusting. As if they are victims, even if they are entertainers, they are the top who are totally different from their real lives.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-61283582442887526982012-03-07T05:15:45.306-08:002012-03-07T05:15:45.306-08:00@Reema

Of course, that's saying, watching ...ctnued...

Of course, that's saying, watching youtube is not the same as watching them on TV, with other artist (but fans still watch/dl the performance, and worry about how many views, lol). But is it so hard, at least your fans can 'see' you. Or is it because non-profitable? In the end, money is still an issue. Nobody wants to work without any payment, and that's the reason SM is evil, right? Because oppars work hard, little sleeptime, can't have money. Again, have they thought about the staff working for TVXQ? That they also work hard, little sleep (they arrived much earlier and left much later for stage preparation, etc). If SM don't have any successful artist, or any business, how can they pay their staffs? They don't feed only your 3 beloved oppars, but 900 other employees. 900 of them work hard, not just 3 alone. And how can you measure this hard work, saying your oppar work harder. Everyone do their own job, they are a team. It's like saying when a patient is sick, then only doctor works, how about the nurse, the attendant, the lab technician, science officer and staff in the lab?

Back to Junsu. If he thinks this is the life he wants, because “this is really not a life I live for myself” before he filed the lawsuit, good for him. He finally have something he wants. He thanked the staff, he acknowledged their hard work. But did he said sorry too? Shrugs. In the end it's his life, his choices, his right. No matter how thankful he is/was, his own wants/needs are more important thand anyone else's. That's just human nature. We are all selfish of our own desires.I won't condemn him/ JYJ for wanting what feel right for him, for putting his interest above others, but I can't lie to myself and say that I admire or respect such actions.

I can't support JYJ while constantly having doubts and bad feeling at the back of my mind. Feeling guilty about my conscience. I can't support someone whom I can't respect. I'm not indifference towards them, sometimes I'm riled up with their words and actions..but it's more like I'm getting further away, emotionally from their image when they were in TVXQ. I think I'm growing detached, distanced towards CJS. When I watched old videos and seeing their interactions, it's nice, but that's it. No more special. I guess that's just me, letting go and move on.

Precious, waiting for your next post. Stay healthy!xeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081862504868973957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-2909892944129767042012-03-04T03:04:12.503-08:002012-03-04T03:04:12.503-08:00ctnued...
One more thing used by the fans..arti...ctnued...

One more thing used by the fans..artistic freedom. LOL, this is truly laughable to me. Did SM hold them down with gun pointed at their head when they want to create their own music? Did SM forbid them to do so and watch them 24/7? I thought I heard them saying when they have free time, that's when they do it, they even have their own equipment/ instrument. Some of their song materials were used in TVXQ albums/singles.

But it's different when you want to make your own music, and when you produce them for commercial wise. Making a song is different than selling a song. I admit some of their materials for TVXQ are nice, and as time goes by SM actually letting more and more inputs from the members. Just because you can make good song, doesn't mean it will have a 'whole package' for it to be liked by others. Mr. Yoo Young-Jin himself, has written about 2000 songs, but only 180 were published. That's not even 1/10, and he even admitted he gets criticized a lot. Sometimes I feel like when people can/ have the ability to do it, they think they deserve the instant reward/ success. What's the meaning of work hard and never give up then?

I think this is the mentality of most fans, not just in TVXQ/ JYJ fandom. They think only if their bias compose/ write a song can they be considered a true artist. Amusing. So why do we need musician, lyricist, arranger, producer to create a well produced song? It'd be great if they can multi-task and being good at each task, but to define the worthiness of being 'artist/ singer' based on these traits, I guess we don't need many specific work in real world anymore.

To JYJ/ OT5 fans, I know, they must be frustrated not seeing them perform on Music Shows. But is it the only way? JYJ have luxurious house, cars, a recording studio. Can't they like, rent a place/ build a simple stage, perform, and record to youtube (they have their own channel, don't they?)for fans to see them. Or is it demeaning their popularity, and not their standard? I believe if you truly want it, you'll find a way.xeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081862504868973957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-16849595450830530622012-03-04T03:03:00.166-08:002012-03-04T03:03:00.166-08:00ctnued...
For me, friendship is personal, how h...ctnued...

For me, friendship is personal, how he mix and manipulate it with fans concerns are disgusting. And the fans who getting work up and involved with their 'friendship and brotherhood' because "we know they're close, they've been living & working together for so long, how can you not become close, their freindship is precious, let them be together for the sake of their friendship..and so on" Lololol..Hello, are you in that friendship? How does it matter to you what it becomes? Again Yun & Min get blamed because they don't talk about wanting contact/ meeting. So what? It's their lives, it's their choice. How does it affect your life?

I agree if Yun & Min say they want it, if they are happy, if they say they can have inner peace by being friends again, I'd say go for it. Do what you think best for yourself. But I won't be getting attached with that friendship. That's not my business, and I have no right to say "they should be friends again, don't let it becomes a waste". That's not I as a fan should do. If thing happens, it happens, if it doesn't, move on. Life still goes on.

And in friendship, there must be mutual trust and respect, that's the fundamental. I see it in the past between 5 members, but I can no longer see it after the lawsuit. Am I wrong? Maybe, I'm not CJS, neither am I Homin. I don't know know they feel, but from what I'seen so far, at least Yunho and Changmin are happy with the path they're walking on. I admire their strong relationship, their brotherhood and I'm glad they can count on each other. But no matter how fond I am with that friendship, only Yunho and Changmin know how much it means to them. Only they can decide how they want to continue that dynamics.

To this day, some OT5 and JYJ fans keep bringing the slave contract, even in non-JYJ/ TVXQ articles. Of course, they mention it in other SM artists articles, but also in other Kpop artists. I wonder, have they ever thought, them buying/ purchasing albums, merchandises, concerts tickets, they are actually helping their oppars becoming more 'slave'. Watching them in music shows, TV programs, fan meeting..etc. And now they can't see their oppars so much on TV (actually more than TVXQ since they have dramas/ CF and all), shouldn't they be glad that they oppars become 'normal person'and not 'slave' anymore? Lol..it's worth thinking actually. They'd be a good case study, for selective memories and cognitive changes (dissonance to be accurate) <-- Sarcasm..xeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081862504868973957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3913899626841067494.post-18473376053724151142012-03-04T03:01:42.735-08:002012-03-04T03:01:42.735-08:00Hi, everyone ^^

There are some insightful thoughts I can learn. and thank you Precious for your hard work. I hope life is good for you, though busy..haha..I can relate =)

@Summer
Thanks for the snippets of Junsu's translation. I don't follow his or his group activities, except when I stumble here and there while searching infos fo Kpop. Even then I just scroll further down the page and ignore, knowing how the comments would be.

Sorry this is long…
I find it amusing and disturbing at the same time, when he says he's unable to participate in variety shows and other music programs listed. Did JYJ and OT5 fans ever wonder how he came up with that conclusion? Aside from SM the evil cockblocking them? I wonder, if he really wants to participate, did he went to the PD/broadcasting station and talk with the involved person, discuss, reach to an agreement so he can join the shows. Or has he already had the mindset that SM cockblocks them, forbid everyone to not invite him/JYJ or they'll have trouble getting SM artists. Why bother if you already know the answer? It's laughable, don't you think, that if someone has that kind of mindset in this century? Don't you even want to try? Maybe luck is o your side this time. Or you think that because of your status now (thanks to TVXQ as 5 in the past, SM and their staffs) you would be 'invited' instead of offering yourself? How can you survive in the industry with that kind of thinking? I really can't understand him, lol.

The same with Jaejoong, who unashamedly (yes, IMO he's shameless) keeps bringing Yunho and Changmin's name and saying he wants to meet/contact with them. Even relying on a lighting director (what happen? Even he can't help you?), and other 3rd party (the fans) so that 'his' wish to meet Yun & Min become true. I wonder if he truly cares, or even understand 'friendship'. Of course, everyone has their own definition, but to me, if you really care about your friends, you won't be putting them in a difficult situation. You won't be parading it in the public for everyone to see, you won't let your fans judging your friend.xeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081862504868973957noreply@blogger.com
